How does Ebay work when You are Selling?

First you need a PayPal account. You probably can only do that if you have a credit card. Once you get a PayPal account, create an eBay account.

Then use the Sell link on eBay to put in a listing for your product. They will guide you through it step by step. One of the things you will need to do while creating your listing is select a shipping method.

Once your item is listed, people will bid on it (hopefully). At the end of the bidding period (usually a week), whoever bids the highest has "won" the item, and is supposed to pay you that amount through PayPal.

When they pay you, PayPal will send you an email. Then you can ship the item to the person using the shipping method you put in your listing.

DO NOT ship the item until the money shows up in your PayPal, and ALWAYS ship the item to the address of the buyer that PayPal gives you.

P.S. There are two common mistakes that newbies make on eBay: either setting the starting price of their item too high (so nobody bids on it), or setting the starting price too low or otherwise messing up the listing so that the item sells at a lower price than expected (when that happens you are still supposed to sell it at that price).

How to remove an item on Ebay that has few bids, which sold it to someone?

Once you supply the people in your article that you can not remove. The bidders agree to a legally binding contract that says they are bidding on an item you have, and agrees to pay once auction is ended. You, on the other side of this equation, by listing an item, according legally has the item in hand ready to ship.

Very Important

You should not have it on the list if it will sell somewhere other than eBay.

Let the auction closes and once closed, send the winning bidder a note or e-mail of apology before you pay. I'd be crazy if I was the person receiving the note, so tired of what their plans are for an item that does not sell the next time you do something like this.

How can you tell if a product is not good on Ebay?

  • Well first of all if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. Second reading comments from some customers who bought at the store. I also recommend you only buy from top sellers. The only other advice I can give is to research what you want to buy.
  • Maybe if we used ... $ 20 sounds cheap. Too cheap to be real.
  • Compare to a real coach purse. Ask the seller for more photos if needed.

I would like to know what things sell more on Ebay

Try this:
  • Log in to your account
  • go to the search box and click on "Advanced Search" beside the search box.
  • look for the box that says "completed listings"and put a mark on it.
  • Now look what you're interested in selling.
This will do two things.

You can see if the items are actually trying to sell are selling and if so you can see the lists they sell and not to get an idea about how to write your ad. On the other hand, if you do not see allot of the sale item then you need to find something else.

There really is not a list of top eBay sales. Just look at everything. I know what I m talking about that have been selling on eBay for 6 years.

Where I can Find the Limits of Selling on Ebay?

All the research says to "look into the dashboard of my seller. " I consider myself fairly intelligent, but can not find dn ** button that says, "the monthly limits, as I suggested w / in the forums I read.

I followed the solution center Ebay tells passing under my ebay, my account and I see a category from the sale of the limits!

Take it your way

Depending on the number of comments you have. If you are over 10 and you've been a user for more than 3 months with no limits. The only limit would be free insertion credit (50 monthly).

You have to have something like this:
  • "List of offers.
  • Free Auction Insertion Fees.
  • Free auction listing with any starting price "

When I buy on ebay I get a message from seller's saying they need a 5 star DSR, Why?

If you give a seller stars of low or none at all may adversely affect their positions. Are placed further back in the search and may lose their best-selling grade.

In PayPal is sometimes held until the payment of a buyer leaves feedback or until 21 days have passed.

You can aspire to be a seller.

We are at the mercy of eBay, PayPal and often buyers. Many buyers do not leave comments at all. Many who are often given one star because I think that's important.

No Reserve Auction on Ebay, why?

Did you set this as a no reserve auction? That's where if you did not sell the price of a certain price, would not have to sell. For example, put a book on Ebay and wanted to leave no less than 10.00.

I started the bid at $ 1.00 and set the reserve of $ 10.00. If he did so, it should not be sent. If not, is obliged to send or if you can not directly hurt your score if the buyer leaves a negative feedback.

If you have the problem...

You should check with eBay. More likely is that they are under contract and you can be sued for breach of contract and destroy its reputation and be banned.

If you want a fixed price, you should have put under the "Buy It Now" fixed price. But it is getting everything that you can also run the risk of an auction - it has lost. I advise you to keep your part of the deal, otherwise you will pay more at the end when you are sued.

Have heard there are lots of real sharks on ebay who do not let you to make a penny out of ebay. is that true?

Well, you need something to sell!
You open an eBay account and a PayPal account (which is a secured payment gateway) and list your items for auction or for sale.

EBay charges a small amount for each listing and takes a percentage of the final sale price. Your buyers will mostly use Paypal, which again, they will charge you a % of the money deposited.

there are sharks everywhere to be honest.. but just depends what u are selling, should be genuine, sold out items are good to sell or newly released items too, antiques are also great, try abit of everything and see where u make ur profits.. good luck ebaying..

Not true at all, in my experience.

Start by selling a few things, which will get you used to selling on ebay, then progress to an ebay shop of your own when you have a bit of experience under your belt and some idea of what people will buy/the price they'll pay.
